I think it's been over a week since my last post. Let's just say that it's been the best of weeks, it's been the worst of weeks. No biggie.

I'm like a Phoenix!!!! Ya know, the bird--not the city.

Ok--let's see....what is going on? Osama, Obama, My mama. One is dead, one was forced to prove that he was born in the U.S., and one had her 58th birthday on Tuesday. Wow mom--you are gettin' up there.

Today I saw two tow trucks with interesting company names. One was ironic and one was clever. Emergency Hookers is the one I will always call if I need help. The other was called All American Tow. The truck was a Toyota therefore NOT all American.

I love  the 7 11 Coffee bar. Today it was extra awesome because the blueberry flavored coffee was right next to the butter toffee flavored. I mix the two of them, so it was nice not to have to move. The man next to me was wearing tighty whiteys and a blue t shirt. Seriously, that was all that he had on. Is that legal? If it is, I don't think it should be. Chones are an undergarment--not shorts.

One of my Chapman students' sorority broke a world record yesterday. They created the world's largest thank you card. I think that is pretty cool. Way to go Camille and sisters.

Here is a very interesting fact:
People with red hair aka "gingers" need more anesthesia than the average person for pain. Apparantly, they feel more pain and are more sensitive to it than everyone else. Poor gingers!! Does that mean they have to pay extra when they get surgery, because anesthesia is frickin expensive? The bill for my mastectomy was $57,000 and more than half of that was just for the anesthesiologist. BTW--it was an outpatient surgery. Isn't that a RIDICULOUS amount of money?

If you purposefully create an atmosphere of compassion in everything that you do--that will make your own life pretty awesome.

Myriam and I have decided to go camping this summer for a weekend. Neither of us are fans of camping, but we thought it sounded fun. We are gonna make smores, go hiking, do some birdwatching, and collect leaves. Doesn't that sound like fun? That's what I thought.

Went to Cafe Piccolo for dinner. It was REALLY REALLY good. We needed a nice evening out.

Tomorrow I am taking a 9 hr Reiki training class. I cannot wait. In simple terms, Reiki is Japanese technique for stress reduction and energy healing. My friend Kat is a master Reiki teacher, and I am her guest at the class. I'm really looking forward to the experience.

Today I will close with a joke.
A blind man walked into a store with his guide dog. He immediately picked up his dog and begun to swing him around by the leash like he was a toy. The store clerk came over to the man and said, "can I help you sir?" The blind man replied, "no, I'm just looking around." HAHAHAHA.
